7) Using Bearings with Maps
You will probably learn about bearings in Maths as well as Geography. Watch this GCSE Maths revision video – it’s really helpful.
As the author of the video says, when using bearings there should be three things to have in mind:
- A bearing should be taken from North
- You should go clockwise
- The answer should be three figures (numbers)

3) Complete a Worksheet on Bearings
You will need:
- A printed copy of the worksheet: you can view a pdf version here or a MS Word version here
- Your exercise book (or paper on which to write and draw your answers)
- A protractor (the circular 360 degree protractors are best)
- A pencil and a ruler
